2008 SSWBT Preview

Primary Fundraiser:

The SSWBT Wiffle® Ball Tournament is a two-person over the line style event,  incorporating 3 Divisions of competition; Those who are playing to win; those who are playing for fun, and the ever increasing Junior Division.  Every attendee is  encouraged to participate in the Home Run Derby.  This pledge based event within an event gives participants the opportunity to hit 50 Wiffle® balls over the Home Run Derby wall.  Pledges from sponsors are then collected and participants receive gifts based on how much money they raise.  The morning begins with the traditional reading of the rules, first pitch, national anthem, pancake breakfast, kids club    activities, catered lunch, 20 fields of play and that’s just the beginning!

Once the winners have been determined, the evening activities begin.  The
theme for 2008 is 'Liam Mania', a play off of 'Beatle Mania'.
